Purpose-built, this eight surgery practice offers plenty of room in the clinical areas and around the practice, with each surgery housing large windows offering plenty of natural light. Each surgery has extraction ventilation, sensor X-Rays, a Belmont chair, and the best layout for infection control.
This practice boasts capability and space for the extremely high turnover we have of both NHS and private patients. We have exceptionally skilled nurses, most have post-graduate qualifications (radiography, OHE, and sedation training) and all are incredibly motivated within their roles.
We have a well-established practice team at Darlington – with 13 Nurses, 11 Clinicians (including therapist support), three Receptionists, two Oral Surgeons, and a Practice Manager.
You can also expect full clinical support from the Principle Dentist in practice who also works with dentists in a range of surrounding Bupa Dental Care practices.

At Darlington we have an OPG on-site with nurses trained to use it, Sensor X-rays and three rotary units.
If you’re coming by public transport, it couldn’t be easier to reach us. Darlington is just over a mile away from the historic Darlington railway station and the practice is on most bus routes coming from the north of town.
The practice location also offers a large amount of parking around the area.

I joined the practice as it was renowned for excellence in terms of patient care, infection control and had excellent opportunities to grow, with a few disciplines under one roof so it was ideal. The practice is central to town but far enough to get great parking. Darlington itself has a range of excellent facilities, such as a lovely town centre with lots of places to eat and any errands can be done within 5 minutes nearby – plus the beach is just 30 minutes away!
My advice: To people new to the profession, do not be daunted by our big practice. You will have an endless amount of support available to you and you’ll always know where to find us and will always have someone to ask as there are currently 36 of us here!
We have trained almost all of our nurses at the practice from joining to qualification, and all have stayed with us to continue their careers. We will give you the time you need and will invest in you if you do choose to stay with us.
