The Cardiff practice had been named as finalists in categories for Best Dental Nurse, Best Practice Manager, and Best Team at this year’s Dentistry Awards which recognises excellence in the dentistry profession in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The practice has said despite this year’s awards being very different for all involved, as they adjust to the new normal, they still had a great evening and were thrilled to be recognised for their efforts.
“I cannot believe I’ve won to be honest! I am so very happy to be the winner of Best Dental Nurse. I want to say a big thank you judges who voted for me and most of all I want to thank my amazing Practice Manager Donna Lovell for putting me forward for it and the Team. They are all so supportive and they are the best team to work with ever! Thank you and we all hope to be there in person next year!”

With a number of Bupa Dental Care practices and team members shortlisted as finalists in this year’s awards, efforts have not gone unnoticed. Teams have had to adapt to new ways of working and maintain high standards of patient care which has been testing during a pandemic.
This year’s Dentistry Awards were held virtually with winners announced on Thursday 19th November 2020.

It was a successful night for our Bupa Dental Care nominees with Southey Green receiving a Highly Commended in the Best Team category.
