Located in Greater Manchester, Bupa Dental Care Sale has been treating patients for over 40 years. This practice specialises in private and NHS treatments, including Implants, restoration, Invisalign, facial aesthetics, and composite bonding – offering our patients 5* treatments.
At Bupa Dental Care Sale, there are a large number of friendly faces to welcome our patients into the practice.
We have Practice Manager – Charlotte, Practice Co-ordinator Charlie, eight dentists, four hygienists, three receptionists, and seven dental nurses of which three are currently trainees taking their NVQ.
Apart from this being a brand new three-story building, we pride ourselves on our practice’s appearance and the access to great equipment.
All surgeries are freshly renovated with up to date equipment, we have additional implant motors for restorative work, a top of the range zoom machine, digital X-rays, and all surgeries, reception, and staff room are fitted with air conditioning.
Sale is a large town in Trafford, situated in Greater Manchester. The practice itself is located on the A56, Washway Road, with access to off-street parking and a range of shops and cafes nearby.

My favourite thing about working here is definitely the staff I have around me, no matter how busy, or how stressful a day can go you will always find this team with a positive can-do attitude keeping things upbeat with their personalities.
Sale is an excellent location, surrounded by shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants which are really handy for our many team gatherings!
In terms of dentistry itself, I think it’s an incredibly rewarding career. I myself began as a Dental Nurse and worked my way up to Practice Manager. There are definitely day’s that can be quite challenging, but the way our clinicians, nurses, and receptionists pull together is quite amazing as they all thrive off giving excellent patient care.

Describe your career journey with us so far
Whilst working at Bupa Dental I have progressed within my role as a Dental Nurse to Lead Nurse. My manager has been a great support and will always encourage development and knowledge for all her staff. Bupa is great at providing additional training and will always keep you informed of new changes and anything that will benefit the staff.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to aspiring dental nurses?
My job is rewarding, and patient care and dental nursing is something I’ve always been interested in. Dental Nursing is great as it opens you up to other opportunities in dentistry, especially if you decide to progress into another role or area – not to mention the fact that you’re continuously learning all the time. You meet a lot of people and every case is unique, meaning no day is ever the same.
